I'd like to share a recent giveaway from Sharon,,Thank you so,so much Sharon!!
We drew each others name in the OWOH giveaway!

The bracelet "really" sparkels, I wish I could capture it in 3D. It came inside a wonderful vintage jewlery box.

Also, two beautiful bookmark tags and double sided heart.

Here is the inside of the altered tin. Very sweet!

Inside of the card is a breath of spring....Perfection!

One little shelf, and roll of ribbon at time.

I needed a break today, just for play and fussing around, listening to good music. (no news or tv)
It "was" a  very nice escape.

Old Friends...From 2003...The Dogwood Collection

Meet Lady Dogwood

and Her Dearest Friends and Ladies.

I am glad to have these photos out again, as all these dolls have new homes in America. The photos are grainy and it was before I got a digital camera or worked on a computer.
Many of my dolls back then were more on the grungy side, I will save them for another day.
Have a wonderful creative week.

Old Collections, and Dusty Memories

Pack Rat, thats me, it's genetic. Thanks Mom! I think.

I haven't seen most of these jars, since 1985, at least that is what the newspaper wrapping is dated, I'd say that is just about right. I thought I got rid of them, now I'm glad I put them in storage.

Some contain the ash from Mt.Saint Helens when it erupted in Washington state. I will never forget that day, and the weeks following. I lived on the north side of Portland Oregon, about a 90 min drive to the mountian. I remember the sound of the ash falling. The ash drifted in the curbs, everything was dusted with ash for a very long time.  When I unpack, the dust of memories are welcome, a bit of time travel. I will share other old friends in time. I used to make dolls, and managed to save some of them. They are glad to breath again, and check out the new digs.
I even remember getting the rusty coffee pot at a sale, still marked fifty cents. I know you  understand the deal there. I don't call this the Rustic Victorian for nothing. Ok, back to the mess I just made, and cleaning up the jars a bit. I am having way more fun than I deserve.
More to come!

A Fairy Godmother Please

I could use a Fairy Godmother,,,one to unpack and organize my life, the stuff....I am never moving again. Moving has been a chore, it seems to take me so much longer to get settled, and decide what to do with everything. I wonder why I have so much stuff....and I want to go to an Estate Sale today...how nutty is that.
I will be back soon with some things to share, I just wanted to touch base with you and let you know how much I have missed all of you and your blogs. I have tons to catch up on, and share.
See you soon!
